Have You Ever Lost Your Dog? #pettracker

Sharing is caring!

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Tagg™ Pet Tracker, but all my opinions are my own.

I have shard with you that this summer we got a dog. He has been absolutely perfect for our family and fits in like he has been here for years.

That said, I have one complaint. You cannot let him out of your site when you’re outside. He must be on a leash or he is gone. Like super fast.

This means if the front door is opened and he is near by, he shoots out the door and off he goes every fence in the neighborhood to bark at the neighbors dogs.

I cannot tell you how many times we’ve been running down the street chasing McCoy. In flip flops and pajamas.

I want to give him a middle name so I can call him by his full name like I do my kids when they are in trouble.

We have even been in the car many times driving the neighborhood to track him down.

He does have a microchip that the dog pound gave him when he was rescued from the streets before he because our dog. But, what if you could have a GPS tracking on your dog so you know real time where he is if he is out of your site?

Did you know that over 10 million pets are lost every year? That is so sad!

Tagg Pet Tracking #pettracker

Tagg Pet Tracker has created the very device to do this. It is super easy to use.  This is perfect for animals who are 10 pounds or more.

It comes with a tracking device that you add to your dog or cats collar.

There is a docking station too. You just charge it for 2 hours.

Then you add the tracker to his already existing collar. It is water resistant, so no worries about the rain.

Now you’ll want to activate the device. All of this is done quickly online.

You just go to PetTracker.com and create your account. Then it will prompt you to active your device.

Go in and fill out the details like setting your notifications and setting the device.

Then you’re activated.

Tagg will do the following:

    • Track your pet via GPS and you can set a tagg zone so if they wander outside that zone, you are notified.

    • Tagg Pet Tracker also tracks both the duration and intensity of your dog’s activity each day – every walk, run or snooze- and helps you have more insight into your pet’s overall health. Vets do recommends that your pet gets 30-60 minutes of exercise each day.

    • Has a mobile app

    • Long lasting battery

    • Lightweight

    • Comfortably attaches to any sized dog collar

    • Water resistant – can be worn for a light swim

McMoy does not even notice the device is added to his collar. He does not mess with it and does not seem annoyed or bothered by it.

Now I have peace of mind that we can see exactly where he is online the next time he darts out my front door.

I love all of the tracking that is available with the device, aside from the GPS features and that there is a mobile app. You can customize notification alerts for yourself and contacts, access your pet profile, view your tracker’s battery status, and even connect with the Tagg community on Facebook.

I am really excited to have this mommy solution. Now, the next time our dog darts out the front door, or sneaks out the backyard, no one will freak out. (Do your kids freak out too? They always think the dog will be gone forever.)

  1. Seriously, I could use this. We left a college student in charge of our dogs while we were at a conference in Feb., well they lost one and didn’t tell us for a day. When my parents found out they drove 3 hours (since we were 2 states away) and found her and burried her before we got home. She died because of ignorance, neglect, and flat out lack of responsibility. This could have saved her life. Love it!

    1. It really is a very neat device and you can track so much via your phone and computer.

Every time our dog darts out of the house, the kids panic. They are so scared we will never get him back. This resolves that!

  2. I would love this. We have 5 cats and I fear every time the door opens! I looked at the site but it seems they don’t have coverage in PR.

  3. Oh, I could definitely use this! I have a dog that is a runner and he doesn’t come when he is called. We have done the neighborhood drive around many times. Ugh! This would have saved me the trouble.
