Sharing is caring!

He has been gone for a month and a half.
I certainly can not say it gets easier every summer, but we have been doing this for many many years.
Momma’s figure out how to cope with this.
We have to… or we go crazy!
I wonder what he is doing everyday when he is gone. We do not get to talk a lot.
As the days and weeks go by the twins start to ask endless questions. It is so hard for them to understand.
As soon as Garrett and I walk in the front door together, the twins are so excited!
GARRETT!!!!!
They surround him. {Baby} Matthew does too.
Jumping, happy, pulling on him and screaming his name.
GARRETT’s HOME!!!!
It does not take long at all for everyone to reconnect.
Chaos is already amok in my living room as the twins and Garrett play Star Wars games and Matthew squeals as he dashes by buzzing light sabers and Momma yells since all the boys know better.
Garrett has grown.
Taller.
He is right at my chin.
Next week he starts 6th grade.
We missed him.
We love him.
We are so glad he is home.
The boss is back.
Now, we just wait for Anthony to come home. (He is visiting his mother).
How do you manage your blended family?
