Homemade Gourmet with GIVEAWAY
As many of you know, I am a mom to five boys.
Life is busy.
Children are hungry.
There are only 24 hours in a day and t.h.r.e.e meals to serve!
I am so happy to share one of my dinner secrets with you. You’ve seen it a lot in my weekly meal plans that I post here at Crystal & Co. It is a constant in my life. After the twins were born four years ago, this is the ONLY way I got dinner on the table to feed the other hungry people in our home.
That secret, which really is not a secret because I tell everyone about it, is Homemade Gourmet.
So, what is this stuff- this Homemade Gourmet I keep talking about?
I thought you would never ask!
It is pre-package seasonings that allow you to whip something up real quick. Something that tastes like you’ve been cooking all day long. The packet includes all the ‘dry’ stuff you need, so you just add the wet stuff.
Wanna make taco soup? Use the Taco Soup Mix and just add the cans of corn, beans, tomatoes and browned meat. In less than 30 minutes you have a steaming pot of the most delicious taco soup you’ve ever put in your mouth!
Or, use that same mix and add sour cream, mayo, picante sauce and cream cheese and you have our after school snack special… Taco Dip.
Want to make something in the crockpot with the taco soup seasoning? Take that same seasoning packet and mix it with 2 cans of rotel and pour it over chicken breasts in the crocopot. Cook for 4-6 hours on high. Plate it up and top with shredded cheese and you’ve made a scrumptios Cheesy Mexican Chicken. Oh, and save any leftover chicken and make chicken tacos or chicken quesadillas the next night! Super fast and super easy!
Versatile, delicious and very handy! Is your mouth watering yet?
Their most popular seasoning packets are also available in ‘pantry staples’, larger sizes for all of your cooking needs. (clearing my throat) I buy the Taco Soup mix in the pantry staple… to support our after school snack addiction!
Do you like casseroles and one skillet meals? Of course you do! They have an answer for that!
Homemade Gourmet offers packets that will dish up meals to feed an army, like Cornbread Casserole. This is to die for!!! You can feed the neighborhood.
Like to batch cook? They make it super easy to prepare spaghetti sauces that will provide dinner night after night by making Lasagna, Homestyle Spaghetti, Chicken Cacciatore.
Love dessert after dinner but you’re just too tired to whip up a batch of cookies after a 15 hour day of chasing children or working in the office? Make these Strawberry Lemon Bars in no time flat. Your children will devour them.
I know what you’re thinking… Crystal, you must sell this stuff?
Nope, I don’t. I simply use it, love it and many nights would resort to drive thru food if I did not have this stuff on hand.
What really makes my life easier, is the monthly Meal Class my rep offers. Her name is Allison. Hi, Allison! We love her!
Allison offers meal classes once a month. She sends me a menu 2 weeks before the designated meal class date. I choose 7 meals for $110. I go to her house on the designated date and she has everything there (Homemade Gourmet seasonings, the meats and all other ingredients needed) to make these 7 meals. She provides ziploc bags to store each meal in (or in the instance of a casserole, she provides a metal throw away pan). Pack the meals up in your ice chest… and you’re set. Cooking instructions, generally with options for crockpot, stovetop or oven, and sometimes even a grill cooking, are included.
Oh, you can’t make it to the class because you’re busy. I get it! I totally get it. She will prepare it all for you for an extra $20. You just show up in the afternoon and pick up your order!
Want Allison to send you an email when her next menu is ready? Email her at akamador1@sbcglobal.net.
I use it. I love it. Many nights, it is the reason I am able to get dinner on the table.
Have I convinced you yet that this stuff is amazing? Want to try some?
Guess what?
I have a giveaway! (said in a singy song voice)
One person will win all three of the following:
Cornbread Casserole (for dinner)
Old Fashioned Apple Crisp (for dessert)

You’re starting to love my site, aren’t you?

I would be so excited to try the oldfashioned apple crisp mix–I have fond memories of my mom's apple crisp growing up, but sad to say I'm not a talented baker like her. A mix will work just fine for me 🙂
