Letter of the Week Snack: I is for Ice Cream
Hi, everyone! Welcome back to our weekly Letter of the Week snack idea for preschool and school aged children. Every week here at Crystal and Co., we are sharing a fun new letter snack idea that will help you start to introduce or practice letters with your younger children.
Are your kids just starting to learn the alphabet? Why not make them a snack that will help them recognize the new letter they are learning with our letter of the week ideas? You could even coordinate with the preschool class and take snacks in that will help the teacher that day. This is also a great way to practice letters during the summer months when the kids aren’t in school.
This week the letter is I and of course the first thing that I thought of was Ice cream! What kid doesn’t love having a special ice cream treat? You can find a yummy snack and how to kick up your scoop of ice cream below.
Materials you will need:
- Your favorite flavor of Ice Cream
- Candy Topping
- Caramel Topping
- Chocolate Topping
- Sprinkles
Letter of the Week Step by Step Tutorial:
Step 1 – Place several scoops of your favorite Ice cream in a dish
Step 2 – Drizzle chocolate and caramel on top
Step 3 – Add your favorite candy topping
Step 4 – Top with sprinkles and a cherry if you would like.
I am sure your little ones will LOVE learning about the Letter I with this snack idea! I know I sure would!
