Luke’s Magic Trick

Luke is super funny.

Lately he has been asking a lot about what is real and what is fake.

Last night he snuggled up next to Daddy and said, ‘How do you make that quarter come out of my ear sometimes?’

We all had a long talk.

I started off using the words fiction and non-fiction. That did not go so well.

Then, we lead into a very simple conversation.

Scooby Doo is fake.

Spiders are real.

Magic is fake.

Luke is real.

All of this as Nicholas ran around the living room in his Thomas The Tank Engine underwear. Go figure.

Have fun watching this video. Do not look at the crumbs we obviously did not sweep up that are against the wall. (Am I the only one who sees those?)

And I notice how much the baseboards need to be repainted. (Do you see that as well?)

Promise not to judge, right?
