Make Ahead Freezer Meals for June
Dinner time is a struggle, hands down. Even the most prepared of moms and dads struggle with dinner from time to time. June Make Ahead Freezer Meal Plan
This past Sunday we assembled a really great freezer meal plan for June. Thew ultimate goal with this assembly was to assemble meals that don’t heat the kitchen. So what better way to do that than to plan meals that use the grill, slow cooker, or even instant pot. These meals are crowd pleasing, easy, and totally delicious. If you are not a fan f freezing feel free to assemble and refrigerate. Easy peasy! Here are what we included on the plan for June:
- Hasselback Fajita Chicken Breast
- Loaded Nacho Fries
- Grilled Pizza
- Garlicky Salmon Hobo Packets
- Cheesy Stuffed Burgers
- BBQ Pineapple Chicken Kabobs
- Cilantro Lime Chicken (marinade)
My favorite thing about this months freezer meal plan is that each of the recipes works perfectly for grilling. After all, the summer heat and a hot kitchen are not a good mix. But feel free to toss several of these in the slow cooker or pressure cooker for a flavorful dinner fix too!
Show Notes:
Here are products mentioned for this prep:
Thaw Board – Thaw meat in no time with this thing. <–MY KITCHEN FAVORITE!
Freezer Bag Holders – Lifesavers when it comes to assembly, making sauces, marinades or whatever!
Marinating/ Thawing Dish – Perfect for marinating or I use mine to thaw things with my thaw board.
Instant Pot– ( I have this one and LOVE it!)
Programmable Crockpot – Set this one up with easy cooking setting and it has a cook and carry feature too!
Online Grocery Shopping– each month I always buy all of my groceries online using this service.
Each month we create a new menu. You can find all of those here. You don’t have to make the meal options for that particular month you can view the recipes prior to purchasing and choose whether or not that meal plan works for you. Make March meals in July. Make January meals in May. Whatever you choose, there is no judgement here. You can also double the recipes to make 14 instead of 7 or divide them if you have a smaller family. It is whatever works for you! We just want to help get dinner on the table!
