Under the Sea Books Kids Will Love (and Parents too!)
I have heard from many of you that you or your kids struggle with reading time. Rather kids are reading independently or you are enjoying read a loud time, there is an opportunity for growth and learning.
Right now we are reading about all things that are under the sea. This is a great way to get kids interested in all of the wonder the ocean has to offer!
We love doing and learning new things about the ecosystems, organisms, and sea life that make up the great big blue. Along with activities our kids love to read! Here are some excellent finds for books that even the youngest of readers can enjoy!

My kids used to love to read about the ocean with me. Now that they’re older, a couple of my kids still love to read about ocean life.
All of these sound like great books. These are the types of books that my daughters enjoy too. Reading about the ocean is always fun for them.

The books and the color pages are awesome. My grand daughter would love these. She loves drawing and coloring so I know the Under The Sea activity pages will make her very happy. Pretty soon, she’ll be asking me to get her a new box of crayons.
These sound like such great books! I loved reading books as a little girl and I especially loved the I Spy series – mostly in the summer because it was so fun to do by the pool! I love this list, I’ll have to share it with my SIL so she can get some of these for my nieces!
I love to give books as gifts. It is so important to encourage our kids to read.
My daughter loved the book “The Rainbow Fish” when she was little. We used to do so many under the sea art projects focused around that book.
These sound amazing. I really need to check them out since my daughter loves sea animals especially after watching Dory recently.

I’m always looking for more books about the ocean to read to my grandsons, especially since they love to go to the beach in the summer. Thanks for providing this list. I’ll have to see which ones I can get at the library and maybe purchase a few too.

What a great list! We recently got a Shine-A-Light book from an Usborne book party called Secrets of the Seashore. You use a flashlight behind each page to learn about what is hiding in the tide pool. It is really cool and my kids love it! Thank you for sharing on Family Joy Blog Link-up Party.
