Egg Carton Penguin Craft for Kids
Have you ever made a penguin from an egg carton? What better way to celebrate letter P is for penguin than with a fun craft that is just right for this letter and kids will love!!
If you are going through learning a new letter each week this one is a perfect addition to add to your learning curriculum! Check out how we made this cute little penguin guy from just a few materials we already had in our craft cabinet!
You will need:
- used egg carton
- black paint
- paintbrush
- white & orange cardstock
- scissors
- googly eyes
- glue
First the egg carton will need to be cut. So with a little cutting action cut a few of the egg cups from your carton. Then take your black paint and get to painting! Just paint the outside and allow it to dry.
While it is drying you can cut the beak and feet from the orange cardstock and a circle for the penguin belly from the white cardstock.
If you egg cup is dry you can attach the cardstock cut outs. Glue accordingly and don’t forget to add the googly eyes!
Cute right!
