Popcorn and a Movie…. on a Budget

Sharing is caring!

Oh, I love this idea!

There is a gal over at The Christian Frugal Mama who has the solution for popcorn and a movie… especially during these hard economic times.

Click here to see her post about how to make cheap microwave popcorn at home using a brown lunch bag and real popcorn kernels. And, she lists a recipe for a sugary peanuty surprise to add to your popcorn.

Now, the even better part.

She also has a link that will direct you to awesome Redbox codes to get one free night of movie rental. (Redbox is that movie kiosk outside some stores and pharmacies. You rent movies for $1 per night. We love them! Just do not keep the movie for 3 weeks… that gets expensive. We may have done that before. Like maybe seven or so times….) How awesome is that?

So, enjoy a movie tonight with your honey, your kiddos, or as a great big happy family… for FREE! And don’t forget to try the popcorn!

Have an awesome Sunday.

  1. The Redbox codes really do work! I used BREAKROOM last night and rented The Ugly Truth or FREE!
