Put Me in Coach
Today was toasty here in Texas and the perfect day for a ball game.
Matthew wants to play so bad. Sitting in the batting cage watching his brothers just isn’t enough for him.
He tried to run out on the field a couple of times. I cannot say I am surprised.
Before we headed to the ball field Luke says, Tell Daddy I do not want to bat. I just want to run. Will you tell him?
Needless to say, he batted.
Twice.
He is a natural.
And Nicky is like a fierce stick of dynamite.
Don’t let his compact physique mislead you.
Baseball is his game.
And our season begins.

I guess you will be very proud of your son and only few kids do that…You are lucky enough to have him…Great photos here for us!
Wonderful post and great pictures. My son looks like him he wants to play to. Hopefully soon I will be able to find a team and be able to come up with the money so he can.
Thank you so much Glenda.
Baseball is a lot of fun. All five of our boys enjoy the sport.
We still have snow here and are only dreaming of baseball at this point. Our kids are still playing hockey, speaking of which, our girls under 14 hockey team won the National Championship title this morning in Dallas, so they are having a great time enjoying y’all hospitality.
No way, Sandy! That is awesome. Tell them congrats!
Glad to hear we have been hospitable.
Today was hotter than yesterday- I think we were close to 90. I am certain we are in for a hot, hot, hot summer!
Hope your girls love Texas as much as we do. 🙂
