Mother’s Day Photo Props

Sharing is caring!

Yesterday my boys were in rare form. We had a bit of a crazy day. Silly moods, poor listening, delayed obedience… you get the idea.

To change the mood I had this great idea to take the kids to the park and take Mother’s Day pictures. Really, Matthew was the one who was most interested so I ensure his clothes were tidy and off we went.

By the time we arrived, Nick and Luke decided they wanted to participate in the pictures and Matthew was in the silliest mood you can imagine.

The story of my life.

I have this Mother’s Day picture frame from Hallmark. It came with these printed hearts and some ribbon.

You can string the hearts to say We Love You. We Love Mom. I Love Mom. I Love You.

Super cute. It makes the easiest photo prop and you do not have to be a professional photographer to use it.

Nick had thrown on play clothes since he initially did not want to be in the pictures.

But, he is a child who always wants to please. He has the kindest heart and there was no way I could pass up the opportunity to get a picture of these three guys together.

Luke attempted to get his brothers in order and in line to take a picture. We had removed the ribbon from the photo prop and each boy was holding a heart in their hand.

Matthew was silly as ever (as you can see).

Nick, was  Mr. Pleaser.

And Antony stood behind me with my keys shaking them in my ear to get their attention as if we were photographing 6 month of babies. (Anthony is way too cool for this picture….)

We were a hot mess!

A sweet lady and her toddler were at the park watching us. I am sure she thought we were nuts.

I decided we should head back home and change Nick’s clothes since he really wanted to be in the picture. He kept begging his twin brother to trade shirts with him.

He put on his handsome clothes.

And we combed his hair.

Back to the park we went.

And here is the sweetest boy with the kindest heart.

Oh, Matthew.

He really is a ham.

He leaves me at a loss for words.

Everyday.

(See where he chopped the front of his hair a week or so ago?  This was AFTER we got haircuts….)

And Luke…. so charming.

Always photogenic.

For the record, I’ve never lived a day in my house without laughing.

My boys always crack me up. Even in the simplest ways.
