Weekly Meal Plan 142

Sharing is caring!

Has school started back in your neck of the woods?

Garrett begins 8th grade this morning. I pray he has a wonderful day.   Anthony’s 5th grade journey began this morning as well.   Both older boys are in public school.

The twins are pressing ahead with Kindergarten as we started homeschooling them in May. We are using Sonlight’s Core A curriculum and really enjoying it.

And Matthew will officially begin the Sonlight preschool curriculum this morning. To hear him say, “Me school too, Mommy? “, is one of the cutest things to come out of his mouth yet!

This is what I am feeding my family this week.

weekly menu

Crockpot Spaghetti– this time instead of meatballs, I am using ground Italian sausage. I will share my recipe later this week. Super easy and not too much variation from the meatball recipes. Everything is done in the crockpot.

Four Bean Goulash– easy and very high in protein.

Chicken Tortilla Soup– yum! Bring on the soup and bring on the fall weather!

Baked BBQ Salmon– served with couscous and a dinner salad.

Sour Cream Noodle Bake– love this Pioneer Woman recipe. Super easy and my kids love it.

Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!

  1. Public school started here August 15th.
I only have one child left at home and she will be 16 in October. She is the only one of my 4 children that has been strictly homeschooled. Well, with the exception of her 2 years in Headstart.

    1. Marsha- we are really enjoying the homeschooling experience. Don’t get me wrong, there are days that are pretty stressful, but I know teachers get stressed out too.

Congrats on your long homeschool journey!
