Weekly Meal Plan 24

Sharing is caring!

Ready for a yummy week of feeding the masses?

Speaking of the masses, here is a real quick cute Sunday morning church story.

It was our first time to go in far too long. We should honestly be ashamed of ourselves.

We sat there, in the back row of the closely seated quiet church as the preacher began to speak. My sweet four year old Luke leans over to me as the voice of the service began to boom through the speakers and with much amazement in his voice in a very eager whisper he asks, ‘Mom, is that Jesus?’.

Is he the cutest kid or what?

Oh, my.

Here is what we are eating this week…

Nutella and toast- the breakfast of running late mornings!

Scrambled eggs and toast

Instant Oatmeal- Maple and Brown Sugar

Cold cereal

Big boys packed lunches are:

Nutella and Peanut Butter

chips

bottled water (with flavor packet to add)

snack item- (I bought Oreos….. the teachers should love me by Friday!)

Lunch for those of us at home:

Corny dogs

ABC’s and 123’s

PBJ sandwich

Mac and Cheese

We have yogurt, string cheese and apple sauce as sides as well.

After school time is a hungry time at our house…

Homemade Gourmet Taco Dip

Cheeze Its

Frozen Pizza Rolls

Popcorn on the stove

Chips and salsa

Jennifer’s Creamy Spinach Spaghetti– I am really excited to try this. It is a recipe submitted to me by a long time friend who is also a Facebook and Crystal & Co follower. It’s simple:

Take a jar (or 2 in my case) of spaghetti sauce and add one 8 oz block of cream cheese.

Take browned Italian sausage links (cut them up into bite size pieces) and add them to to the mix.

Stir in some fresh spinach leaves and allow them to wilt and serve over spaghetti noodles.

I am going to brown the meat and then throw it all in the crockpot.

Homemade Gourmet Yummy Meat Casserole– served with mashed potatoes on top and (frozen) steamed mixed veggies on the side.

Mini Burgers– served with baked tator tots and corn on the cob. Lots of starch, as my mother would say (potatoes and corn). My mother-in-law bought me the coolest grill- it like a George Foreman, but makes these small little burgers. We will serve them on rolls from the bakery.

Homemade Gourmet English Muffin Pizza’s– carry over from last week. These are so simple!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs– served over rice with steamed mixed veggies (frozen of course) on the side.

My kids will think I am a rockstar all week long at dinner time. This is their kind of meal plan… minus the veggies of course.
