Weekly Meal Plan 84
Easy meal plan at our house this week. Our menu is a combination of crockpot dinners and easy oven meals. A little nervous about heating the kitchen up with the already boiling heat we have here in Texas, but we will just go with it.
Here is our menu for this week….
Slow Cooker Creamy Tacos– I’ve seen these flavored cream cheese products at the store for a while, and have been wanting to try them. What do you know, I found a recipe over on the crockpot ladies site. Super excited to try this simple recipe.I will serve with Puerto Rican rice.
Chicken Nachos– using the leftover chicken from the tacos, we will throw together some yummy nachos.
Mac and Cheese Casserole– this bakes in the oven for 45 minutes. I am not thrilled about heating the house up as it bakes, but we’re going to see how it goes. Served with carrots and ranch and some fresh fruit.
Crockpot Beef and Broccoli– yum! The kids will be thrilled! They love making homemade take out. Served with steamed rice and some fresh fruit.
French Bread Pizza– this bakes quickly in the oven. This is also a dinner that is easy for me to enjoy with my family as I sub my pizza portion with a Nutrisystem pizza.
Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!

Hi Crystal,
Those Mav’s are looking pretty good today! It is good to see someone in bloggerland from the Dallas area. Your menu looks great and I am going to try the Slow Cooker Creamy Tacos. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week!

Miz Helen- the game last night was awesome, wasn’t it? We had such a great time watching it! So happy for Nowitzki!
The creamy tacos are in my crockpot right now. Excited to see how they turn out.
Thanks for stopping by.
I have an addiction for the flavored cream cheese products. Especially the Italian Herb and Cheese one.
Try combining one of those with about a lb or so of cooked ground sausage. Lay out a crescent roll rectangle, put the sausage in the middle in a line, braid it over top and bake. It might just be what heaven tastes like.
Shannon, the slow cooker creamy tacos were really, really good.
The Italian Herb sounds good too. I think it would be delish with pasta and veggies.
