Weekly Meal Plan 87

Sharing is caring!

I really, really want a super simple menu this week. I am taking advantage of leftovers and their ability to stretch meals!

Crockpot Chicken Fried Rice– this will make a lot and will result in a fair amount of leftovers. That makes me very happy.

Sour Cream Noodle Bake– this is a Pioneer Woman recipe and it makes a lot! Leftovers baby! (Yummy beefy recipe!)

Grilled Asian Salmon– served with steamed rice and grilled asparagus. (This is a carry over from last week.)

Pancakes– so easy!

Leftoverslots of them!

How are you staying motivated this summer to cook at home?

  1. I’m a mom to all boys too (but I’ve only got 3 – 4 if you count my husband!!)
I think one day I need to write a song of love for the crockpot, because it is one of my all-time faves too…..a mom’s best friend. Your menu looks yummy! (I’m envious, because hubyz is on a lower-carb eating plan, so I try to limit pasta at our house… although I *LOVE* it. Enjoy some for me!)

    1. Angela, I am on Nutrisystem. Dinner is the meal I struggle with lately…. I often want to have a plate of what I am feeding my family. NOT because Nutrisystem is bad, simply because I want to eat the yummy things I’ve made. 🙂

      And crockpots rock!!!!!

  2. love the chicken fried rice link!!
how to stay motivated to cook at home? anything that can go on the grill, does! my girlfriend even grills her pizza – either frozen or home made (pre made crust). I think chicken fried rice in the crock and grilled pizza are both on my meal plan for the week! ya know, the meal plan that floats loosely in my head because I’m allergic to planning on paper 🙂

    1. grilling pizza… brilliant! must try…. next week. way cool.
