Weekly Meal Plan 88

Sharing is caring!

Every summer I reach this point where meal planning is not as epic in my life, as say, during the school year.

My 12 year old is gone for the month of July visiting his biological father.

My husband works until well after 9:00 pm during the summer-time running the HVAC business.

I am eating Nutrisystem.

The twins and Matthew could honestly eat cereal every night for dinner. If I let them.

Meal planning is not so survival right now, but without it my kids really would just eat cereal. So, I press ahead. With easy meals.

Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches– with fruit and baked chips.

Pizza on the Grill– giving this a try, thanks for the idea Jaci. And even better, I found an online tutorial.

Salsa Chicken Pasta Skillet– served with dinner rolls and salad.

Grilled Chicken Breasts over Salad– served with fruit.

Crockpot Spaghetti and Meat Sauce– served with french bread and salad.

Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!

  1. YOU should so start a crock pot contest thing where we cook meals in a crock pot for a year like the spaghetti lady.

I love that you included sandwiches in this week’s menu! I normally have a sandwich at lunchtime with a small fruit, a cup of yogurt, and a Kellogg’s FiberPlus(R) bar; however, I’m thinking perhaps its time to bring back the sandwich at dinnertime too. In fact, I’m imagining an elaborate sandwich bar right now for next week’s meal plan. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. love the pizza tutorial!!! and you know I get a kick seeing my name in your blog.. makes me feel famous:)
