How to Play Fruit and Vegetable Bingo

Print out your caller cards and your bingo cards at the bottom of this post.

You can have up to five players.

Each player gets a bingo card and a collection of markers.

The caller calls out fruit and vegetable names, and the players mark off the items on their card.

The first player to get a full row of fruits or vegetables marked off (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) says BINGO and they win the game.

What Items Can Be Used as Bingo Markers?

One of the great things about bingo is that it can be played with just about anything.

When it comes to markers, preschoolers can use just about anything that can fit in the squares of the bingo cards. That said, there are a few things that work particularly well.

You can use traditional bingo markers, which you can order online.

Another popular option is to use pom poms or other small objects like trinkets, jewels and small erasers, buttons, Legos, etc. Think of fun manipulates that you mind use when playing with play dough or counting objects, etc.

I’m sure you have many different items in your homeschool and classroom stockpile that could be reused as materials for bingo markers.
