One of our favorite books this time of year is Room on the Broom.
As a homeschool mom one thing I like to do when we are reading our favorite books is to use book companion worksheets to go along with the story.

These printable pages are great for helping kids understand the story. When my kids are little they always love to have something to work on while I am reading.
In this pack you will get four pages.
One page has a witch, frog, bird, cat and dog for your preschooler to cut out. The second page is a broom for them to cut out. This is great for working on scissor skills.
Then, they will glue the characters onto the broom in order according to the story.
