Tips for Making Homemade Christmas Ornaments
- Don’t rush it. If you take your time and do the work gently and unhurried, you’re going to get a more clean result you’l love. If you rush, it’s like that you’re going to make mistakes and won’t love what you’ve made.
- Use craft glue, if you can. I’ll be honest, I love my hot glue gun. It does everything I need, but the deal is that sometimes, it does separate, especially on projects that might get warm, like in the attic. So, if you can, use a craft glue like E6000 so that you can be sure that the glue will still be intact after next summer.
- Get creative. So what if you don’t have the exact materials that are listed in the tutorial?! Just get something similar or even go your own way. There’s no reason to toss out a fun idea just because you’re without one little piece–or even two. Make the project your own and don’t feel pressure to be exact.
